EFFICIENCY - ACCESSIBILITY
Kiln Kits
Swivel Motion with no poles to get in the way which allows for total accessibility. (Image 1b)
Firing Chamber Extension (image 1c) allows for energy
conservation when all of the 2’x2'x4’=16 cu.ft. space isn’t
required. Removing it gives you a 2’x2’x2'=8 cu.ft. space.
Electric Winch (Image 2) or counter weight can be used to lower
and raise the firing chamber.
Guide Rod (image 2) directs the firing chamber to its resting place on the castable ring and disengages to allow for swiveling
motion.
Two Venturi Burners (image 3b) Each producing
75,000 BTU's placed directly under the kiln floor.
Castable Refractory Ring (image 2b) creating a wall 2" from the
perimeter of the kiln shelf floor which creates a chamber below
the floor of the kiln.
Burner ports (image 2b) are directly under the floor shelf. Other
kilns of this type place the burners around the perimeter of the
floor shelves leaving a cold area under the floor of the kiln.
Having the Venturi Burners directly under the floor shelf creates
a hot chamber, which radiates an even heat into firing chamber.
